How Do I Sponsor a Child?

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a child!

Without your tax-deductible contributions, Chile House of Hope Mission would not be possible.  The following should give you a detailed understanding of the Child Sponsorship Program:

• We ask you to commit to Child Sponsorship for one year

• Tax-deductible contributions will be made monthly/annually to a U.S. chapter of Ibero American Mission

• Child Sponsorships will be in two increments:  $25 per month or $50 per month.  Each child will need $50 per month to cover all supplies and housing.  If you choose to sponsor a child with a $25 monthly contribution, another individual will also be sponsoring the same child to total $50 a month

How Will My Contributions Be Used?
The contributions made for each Child Sponsorships will be used for the following: (including but not limited to)

• Meals—Breakfast, Lunch, Once (a traditional Chilean pre-dinner meal)

• Household Needs—Kitchenware, cleaning supplies, bathroom/hygiene supplies, clothing, etc.

• Child Psychologist/Counseling Sessions—We would like to have the psychologists counsel all children who are in the shelter

• School Supplies

• Staff compensation—We will compensate staff in the shelter for the following:  Kitchen, Secretary, Facilitators, Psychologist

• Monthly bills—electricity, phone, gas, etc.

Can I be in contact with the child I sponsor?
Yes, of course! We will have a system in place that will allow your child to be in contact with you. At this time you are welcome to email your child at: karla@chilehouseofhope.com
