What is House of Hope?

Phase A: Purpose, Mission and Goal of House of Hope.

Purpose: To rescue at-risk children from the dangerous and hopeless street environment that surrounds them daily. Children will spend hours every day in the shelter to create a home environment where children feel secure and loved. Christian education will be given as well as tutorial work for their educational needs. For the children who do not attend school, basic skills will be taught such as reading and writing and simple math skills.

Mission: House of Hope serves to reach at-risk children for Christ and guide them to see Him as their Lord and Savior . Above all, sanity and restoration will be given through the Holy Spirit. The seed planted by the House of Hope will help to create mature men and women of God. Through the lives of these children, our goal is transform and reach their families for Christ as we demonstrate the true love of God, different than anything they have experienced.

Goal: To fulfill every phase of the project as described. Work towards faithful supporters who will be integral parts of the on-going success of the project by giving monthly donations. Strive for unity in staff and teamwork that will allow for a healthy, successful shelter. Working together all things will be possible to continue reaching others for the Kingdom of God.

We have started a new ministry, House of Hope, with the first project, Phase A. The following projects are described below.

Phase A:
To rescue at-risk children from the dangerous and hopeless street environment that surrounds them daily. Children will spend hours every day in the shelter to create a home environment where children feel secure and loved. Christian education will be given as well as tutorial work for their educational needs. For the children who do not attend school, the House will do everything possible to get them in school and make sure they attend. In addition, basic skills will be taught such as reading and writing and simple math skills. Nutritional needs will be met daily including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Phase B:
Home for At-Risk Children. After two years there are hopes to purchase a piece of property that will be structured according to the needs of the children. This would allow for daytime treatment as well as a refuge to house children over night.

Prayers:

  • That God would continue to guide our team to meet the needs of the children.
  • For unity of the team of House of Hope.
  • For ongoing sponsors who will be committed to donate monthly to meet the needs of the House.
  • Committed parents who will bring their children daily to the House of Hope.
  • That God will send angels to surround and take care of our House.
  • For good health and strength for all who are working together for the daily function of the House of Hope.
  • Wisdom and guidance in all decision that are made.
  • That God will continue to guide and lead us in the future vision of the House of Hope.
